Author Description

Rev. Dr. Bruce J. Nicholls, a graduate of the universities of Auckland and London, including London Bible College, Princeton and Ashland Theological Seminaries, has been widely published for his work on Theology and Contextualisation. With his wife Kathleen, he taught for 18 years and was later interim Principal at Union Biblical Seminary in Central India. The founder of Theological Research & Communication Institute, New Delhi, and Theological Commission of the World Evangelical Fellowship, also co-founded Asia Theological Association. The founding editor of several publications like Evangelical Review of Theology, now resides in Auckland, but travels widely on behalf of the Commentary Series. 

Dr. Brian Wintle is presently the Regional Secretary for India of the Asia Theological Association. After completing his Ph.D. in Manchester University, U.K., Dr. Wintle returned to the Union Biblical Seminary, Yavatmal (and Pune), where he served on the Faculty as a Lecturer, and later, Professor, in the New Testament Studies department for 18 years. During the last eight years at the Seminary he also served as Principal. Dr. Wintle now resides in Bangalore, South India, with his wife Phyllis and their two daughters.
