Author Description
Jey Kanagaraj teaches New Testament and is Head of the Department of Biblical Studies at the Union Biblical Seminary, Pune, India. He completed his Ph.D at the University of Durham, UK under Prof. James D.G. Dunn. He has served as a pastor for ten years in the Church of South India, Madurai-Ramnad District and is now the associate Presbyter of St Mary's Church (Church of North India) in Pune. He is the author of ‘“Mysticism” in the Gospel of John: An Inquiry into its Background’ (1998), and of another commentary on John’s Gospel written to the Indian context (2005). In addition, he has edited two books and published numerous articles.
Ian S. Kemp has pastored Baptist churches and trained students for Christian leadership in India and New Zealand for the past 50 years. He taught New Testament, Preaching and Missions at Union Biblical Seminary, Yavatmal and Pune for half this time. He now assists a local church in Auckland in preaching and supervising cell group leaders and continues a writing and editing ministry. He is a graduate of the Universities of Auckland, Melbourne and Oxford. Ian is married with three adult children and nine grandchildren.
